How the Service Works
Our service uses Norethisterone (5mg tablets), a synthetic form of progesterone that mimics your body's natural hormones. By keeping your progesterone levels high, it prevents the uterine lining from shedding, effectively delaying your period. When to Start: Take 1 tablet three times a day, starting 3 days before your expected period. Duration: Can delay your period for up to 17 days (maximum supply of 60 tablets). Next Period: Your standard menstrual bleeding will typically restart 2 to 3 days after you stop taking the tablets.
Who Is Eligible?
To use our Period Delay Service, you must meet the following criteria: Age: Females aged 16 to 50 years. Contraception Status: Must not currently be taking any form of hormonal contraception (e.g., combined pill, mini pill, hormonal IUD/coil) or Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Note: Norethisterone tablets used for period delay do not act as a contraceptive and will not prevent pregnancy. You will need to use non-hormonal contraception (such as condoms) if required.
